About Me

Lyla Drake-Wilhelm: Omaha, Nebraska, United States; I graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2010 after four years of study with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design and a minor in Architecture from Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas. I moved to Gothenburg, Sweden in July 2010 with my husband who is working as a researcher for the University of Gothenburg. Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, I moved to Texas to further pursue my Interior Design studies at the CIDA accredited Texas Tech University. I completed an internship at the Design firm Adling Associates. As an interior designer, I am committed to developing lasting design that looks towards the future, benefits clients and the community. My goal is to create spaces, buildings, and communities that are functional and inspiring. I am committed to sustainability and producing designs that significantly reduce environmental impact. I am currently seeking an interior design position in Omaha, Nebraska.
